Welcome diversity and equality into their early social play.
These extra special Miniland dolls have been uniquely produced for sale in Australia and New Zealand, designed under guidance of several First Nations people to ensure they felt these dolls best reflected the face of Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islanders.
In addition, a portion of proceeds from the sales of all Australian Aboriginal Miniland Dolls will be donated to the Aboriginal community-led organisation, Children’s Ground. How wonderful is that!!
To play with dolls is to learn to care about ourselves and others, and these are important skills little ones will learn early and carry all through life.
What's so special about Miniland Dolls? For over 50 years Miniland have empowered parents and teachers with opportunities to learn empathy through play, and the value of the unique community around us, including all races, genders and abilities.
Made in Spain with phythlate-free vinyl that is incredibly durable for play and safe for all toddlers, this gorgeous Aboriginal Boy has Indigenous Australian features with brown eyes and long brown hair. His hair is delightful to brush and style, and his body is 5-way jointed to sit, pose, or lie down for nap time.
Miniland Dolls are anatomically correct, so you may pick between girls and boys (or adopt one of each!) to celebrate their differences and dress them however you like.
This Boy is the perfect baby doll to learn about a new little brother on the way, or to help little ones develop their emotional and care-giving skills by looking after Baby.
Miniland Dolls love to play outside in puddles and can be safely washed and cleaned, but should not go diving or be soaked in the bath to ensure water residue does not get trapped inside their hermetically sealed joints.
Comes dressed in a white underwear set (same style as second photo) with additional clothes available separately.
