We are proudly the Toy Suppliers to Santa, bringing you heritage quality toys and gifts to encourage learning through play.

Proudly Australian owned and run, as our beautiful Melbourne city grows we like to grow with it, always embracing modern sensibilities whilst respecting and appreciating the timeless classics.
We are conscious to support local makers and fair trade businesses, with sustainability, inclusivity, safety and longevity always at the forefront of the ranges we choose to present.

When stepping into Jasper Junior you will be greeted with the Traditional Toy Store experience, where quality pieces reign and finding that perfect piece will delight Little and Big Kids alike!

Our History:

Founded in Melbourne in 1996, we started as a sparkle in a coffee store.

A few quirky and interesting pieces dotted through the iconic Jasper Coffee soon grew to be like a ‘Cave of Wonders’, moving into our first store at 269 Brunswick St Fitzroy.
Here we became a beloved part of the community, bringing joy and laughter to generations of children and supporting parents and families in their endeavours to educate and entertain children through the act of play.

It is here in Fitzroy where we still keep our heart and is the home of our magical Toy Store today, but we look back with nostalgia to our additional stores which have since closed their doors:

We spread our wings to the iconic Royal Arcade in the city in 2005, reaching out to a broader community of customers and sharing our love of children and their families.
City workers would love to spend lunchtimes browsing our two storey store finding delights for the children in their lives, and tourists flock to us for something special to take home as a gift. 

In 2009 we took flight to Chadstone Shopping Centre to open our third store.
This was a wonderland of a store with knowledgeable staff dressed as Fairies and carousel horses hanging from the ceiling. Children loved to visit the Fairies and we had the honour of becoming an integral part of many children’s childhoods and families in this stunning location.

In The Present Day:

Always with room to grow, in the current and ever changing retail landscape we have condensed our focus into our single bricks-and-mortar shop on Brunswick Street, and growing our online store to bring you the best range and service.
As all our loyal visitors will know and expect, Jasper Junior will continue to bring you exceptional service from our team of dedicated and highly knowledgeable staff. We are always excited to go above and beyond for our fabulous customers and to spread our fairy dust further afield. Who knows where our wings will take us next!
